Dr. Ardekani founded DC Pearls in 2017 with one goal: give Washington DC professionals access to world-class cosmetic and specialty dental care without having to leave the neighborhood. With over a decade of experience, he is recognized as one of the top cosmetic dentists in the District and has been featured on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and Bravo.

He holds certifications in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry, completed a fellowship in implant dentistry, and is a certified Invisalign® provider. Dr. Ardekani personally oversees every treatment plan at DC Pearls and is known for his empathetic approach, clear communication, and commitment to oral health education.

His philosophy: every patient deserves both clinical excellence and a genuinely comfortable experience. That conviction drives every aspect of how the practice is run.

Dr. Yasamin Rasool, DDS

Dr. Rasool earned her DDS from Howard University (2018) and brings expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, and advanced anesthesia. A published researcher and former ADA Foundation contributor, she is fluent in English, Farsi, and Dari.

Dr. Shiworke Woldesemait, DDS

Dr. Phillips is a dedicated orthodontist offering comprehensive care for children and adults: traditional braces, lingual brackets, palatal expanders, and Invisalign® clear aligners. A Howard University College of Dentistry graduate, she brings seven years of clinical experience and a deep commitment to building confidence, mentoring young patients, and serving the DC community.

Licensed in Florida and DC, Merlica is certified in local anesthesia and specializes in cleanings, scaling and root planing. Fluent in English and Haitian Creole, she creates stress-free appointments for patients from all backgrounds.
