New Office Safety Perpetuation and Policies

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our dental office has been closely following the recommendations of American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the local government to ensure everyone’s safety.

  1. Appointments are managed to allow for social distancing between patients to the best of our ability. At this time, we are intending to LIMIT the number of people who are in the office at once.
  2. Appointments are managed to allow greater time between patients for deep cleaning and detailed sanitization of each patient room, equipment, waiting room chairs, waiting room counters and other work areas in the office.
  3. We are now utilizing Extraoral Aerosol Evacuator systems to suction and filter out most of the Aerosol created in the patient rooms during dental procedures. In addition, we utilize air sanitizer and Lysol to sanitize each room and work area before and after each patient.
  4. We are screening for COVID-19 symptoms and check your temperature upon arrival. Patients who show symptoms or have been exposed to a positive person would not be seen at this. If you have signs and symptoms of COVID-19 please notify the office prior to your appointment (ideally, 48-hrs in advance).
  5. If you are immunocompromised, please notify us ahead of your appointment time. Dr. Ardekani will call you prior to your appointment to evaluate you and determine if you should keep your appointment or reschedule for a different time.
  6. We ask patients who arrive at the office to sanitize their hands and wear their masks prior to checking in. You may notice our front desk team is also wearing masks.
  7. Patients would be assigned a seat in the waiting area to allow for the “6 feet apart” guidelines.
  8. Dentist and Dental Assistant are now wearing extra disposable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as long gowns, head cover, and shoe covers. All disposables PPEs are changed between patients to ensure safety of our patients.

We would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at DC Pearls Dental Boutique Phone Number 202-750-8718.
